As Heard On The Chalene Show, Podcast Feature of the Week: Why Do Givers Attract People Who Are Takers?

I put a poll up on Instagram asking my followers if they would describe themselves as more of a Giver or a Taker. And, to my amazement and total disbelief, 97% of the people said they were Givers!

Side-note: Same poll on Twitter and just see for yourself…

I mean, how can almost everyone be a giver? Are people just not honest or self aware?

So, I invited Bret to join me on the podcast to discuss what the actual characteristics are of a Giver and a Taker. We will also give you 2 assignments that’ll give you a better idea and understanding as to whether you are actually a Giver, a Taker or maybe a bit of both.

My other podcast gem this week:

As Seen on IGTV: [NEW] Strong Thighs Workout!

For most of us, working out at the gym has been off limits for months now and that, no doubt, has caused serious mental and physical health issues for millions.

Because of which, more people than ever have decided to try exercising at home.

And let me tell you… bodyweight training is a fantastic (and sometimes the most realistic) option for anyone new to trying a workout from their living room!

Bodyweight training continues to rate in the top 5 world fitness trends (according to the American College of Sports Medicine).

When I was a full-time personal trainer, I found it super helpful to start my clients off with these kinds of exercises — as they often help ensure correct movement patterns.

To this day, I have found using my own bodyweight, often with the assistance of specialized equipment, ideal for building strength and endurance.

So, in honor of my new PiYo workout that releases as part of Beach Body’s Virtual Summit — I thought I’d share this strong thigh slider workout! Do you have any fave fitness toys!?

As Seen on Facebook: My 30-Day Roller Skating Challenge

A few weeks ago, I shared this challenge with you and… here we are. We’re talking over 7 hours dedicated to skating in ONE month by just committing to 15 minutes a day! WHAT?!

When you break it down like that, it seems super doable, if you ask me.

Now I’m obsessing over what my next 30-day challenge will be. Any suggestions? And, how about you? What do you:

  • Want to get better at?
  • Have fun doing?
  • See yourself committing 15 min a day to?

That’s the challenge!

Meanwhile, check out my 30-day Roller Skating Journey below….

The next time we meet here, you will have already celebrated July 4th, so my hope is it’s wonderful and that you’re surrounded with love.

But don’t forget, you can catch me on Stories all day, every day!

Love you,

Chalene
