How to Enjoy Being in a Bad Mood | Part 1

Do you ever find yourself in a really bad mood, and you just want to stay there.  You want people to leave you alone so that you can bask in the loner-ness that is the epitome of a BAD MOOD!

Today we explore why it feels good to feel bad.

I don’t know about you, but I have definitely had days where I wanted to stay in my bad mood.  Regardless of the fact that I’m a pretty even keeled person, I think its so interesting that I when these days would hit me, I would almost feed into it… I’d listen to sad music, isolate myself, and watch sad shows/movies.  It was almost like there was a part of me that wanted to feel sad, because it wasn’t a typical feeling for me.

Has this ever happened to you?

If so, I want to reassure you by tell you that you have permission to have bad days. You have permission to be in a bad mood and to be annoyed.  If things are tough, you have permission to be mad, and to be irritated by the situation.

But just as you have permission to feel all of the above, you too must also make a conscious effort to not allow yourself to stay in it.

In part 2 of this podcast series, I’m going to teach you how to choose happiness!
