People love free stuff. So, you’re going to use that to drive traffic to your like page. Offer them something great!
In addition to the useful information, good advice and snappy conversation you’re already providing, you’re going to offer them something for free! So, what do you have to give? Offer your own products or trade with another local business. If you have a car wash and your friend is a photographer why don’t you each offer a gift certificate to the other’s business on your page? This doubles both brands’ exposure! Your friends will learn about her photography and hers will learn of your carwash! This is a fabulous way to network and to support others who are building their brand.
Give away freebies from your own business as well. People who play the lottery or gamble express that part of the fun of playing is imagining what you will do with your winnings. So, when someone posts to your page in hopes of winning something they are likely thinking about their clean car or how much they needed to have family pictures taken (or whatever it is you are offering.) You have put the idea in their mind that this is something they would enjoy. And, it’s something you can provide. They will come back to your page to check their status. (Did I win?) And they will look for more contests in the future!
